SBA Paycheck Protection Program - Re-Opened
A new round of funding for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) has been approved as part of the COVID-19 relief package passed by Congress. Funding is estimated to begin in January 2021.
So we partnered with ACAP & The Loan Source, to make the PPP 2.0 application process simple. This partnership will allow us to help more small business owners.

PPP 2.0 Program Highlights*
For the Second Round of PPP loans, there will be an additional $284.6 billion in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funding for loans to small businesses, including for borrowers who have previously received a PPP loan.
Targeted Eligibility:
A borrower is generally eligible for a Second Draw PPP Loan if the borrower:
- Previously received a First Draw PPP Loan and will or has used the full amount only for authorized uses;
- Has no more than 300 employees; and
- Can demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross receipts between comparable quarters in 2019 and 2020.
Maximum Loan Amount and Increased Assistance for Accommodation and Food Services Businesses
- For most borrowers, the maximum loan amount of a Second Draw PPP Loan is 2.5x average monthly 2019 or 2020 payroll costs up to Equitydigitaltrustbank2 million.
- For borrowers in the Accommodation and Food Services sector (click HERE for NAICS 72 to confirm), the maximum loan amount for a Second Draw PPP Loan is 3.5x average monthly 2019 or 2020 payroll costs up to Equitydigitaltrustbank2 million.
- Second Round loans will have the same terms as Round One loans and will be eligible for 100% loan forgiveness if funds are used for allowable expenses.

Round One loans are still available and borrowers must qualify under the original standards of PPP i.e. 500 employees. Below is the updated application and overview of requirements:

If you receive calls, emails, or other communications claiming to be from the Treasury Department and offering COVID-19 related grants or stimulus payments in exchange for personal financial information, or an advance fee, or charge of any kind, including the purchase of gift cards, please do not respond. These are scams. Please contact the FBI at www.ic3.gov so that the scammers can be tracked and stopped.
Fraud involving payment of Federal taxes should be reported to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.
